Our client wanted Microsoft’s target market to discover how the brand’s seamless, cross-device ecosystem could improve their leisure experiences throughout South Africa’s summer holidays.
In our words, how could customers get more summer using Microsoft’s ecosystem? From Lumia, to Xbox and Windows, how could we let customers work efficiently while still capturing and sharing all of their summer moments? In this way, we could highlight the seamless connection between devices in the Microsoft suite of products and services.
After a discussion with our friends at Carat, we unpacked the brief and tapped into the user insights offered by the Consumer Connection System (CCS Planner) to understand the device-heavy, multi-screen South African market and hone in our consumers’ lifestyles and the role media plays in their lives.
Crafting a user journey which shared Microsoft’s message of “Plus More Summer” at the right moment with the right individual in the right context, we drove ROI through digital and funnelled users to engage with the campaign.
In the end, the Microsoft Plus More campaign drove mass awareness and engagement with the target market around the Plus More Summer message.
